HotelOps is used by a hotel's staff to record the work of a shift. The management company that runs the hotel decides who has an account and is responsible for what its staff enter.
About staff
- An account holds a name, a phone number or an email address to sign in with, a PIN that is stored hashed, and a role at each hotel.
- What a person records is kept with their name and the time: a tick, a note, a room cleaned, an order closed. That record is the purpose of the product and is not deleted.
- The app keeps no schedule, no hours for pay and no location. A housekeeper's start, lunch and end of day are kept because the board's clock counts from them.
About guests
- A guest's name and words are kept on a call, a flag, a complaint or a request only while it is open. When it is closed they are removed and a reference is kept.
- A scanned guest ledger or card report is read for the folio, the room and the figures. No guest name is stored from it, and the scan is deleted when it has been read unless the hotel has chosen to keep scans.
- A photograph attached to a record is deleted fourteen days after that record closes.
- Each time a guest paper is opened, who opened it is recorded.
Where it is kept
- On the server the management company runs or rents. The software sends nothing to an advertiser or a tracker and loads nothing from another site.
- Where the server has them switched on, a phone's alert goes through the phone maker's push service, and a hotel's daily cleaning topic may be sent to a translation service. Which services, and under what agreement, is for the review to state.
- A sign-in ends after thirty minutes without use.
Asking about your information
Ask the management company that gave you your account. A contact address goes here once there is one.
